- Phibber
the Lying Toad
A fun costume character and a huge hit with the kids! Phibber was created for the Unique Group, initially featured in a theme park, then developed for TV use in Noel's House Party (BBC1, UK).

- Emlyn
the Gremlyn
Phew!! won a competitive pitch for BBC Worldwide together with CBBC
Presentations. We designed a new puppet character to replace Otis
the Aardvark as the main live link character daily on CBBC. He was
on air 1999-2001. Emlyn also featured in the CBBC Annual and as licensed
merchandise.

v Monsters
Another original Phew!! creation. We sold a development option on this animated series to Stardust Entertainment of Hamburg. We designed, wrote and illustrated the sales brochure, produced a 4' CGI animated trailer, wrote 2x22' scripts and a full feature script. The project is still seeking funding through Stardust.

- Food Chain
This animated series was sold to Warner Bros Animation for initial development and production within their Cartoon Monsoon series. WB recognised the potential for fun with the first mammal trying to survive the last of the dinosaurs.
|
- BBC Spelling
with the Spellits
Much the same way as the Simpsons grew into their own show, so the
Spellits became the stars of the following year's BBC Education series.
We produced and delivered 62' of Flash animation.

Hunt
Working in a very individual setting of a theme park in a reclaimed coal mine in the Welsh valleys, we designed an outdoor adventure trail game for the Unique Group.

Using a whole bunch of new characters designed and coloured to work in Flash, we created, designed and wrote a series of successful sketches, interactive games and songs for the BBC’s numeracy learning site.
|
- BBC
Starship
Another BBC maths series. We created, wrote and produced 4x6' of animation featuring another new character - Captain Calamity. He combined entertainment with education as he rushed around on his surreal quests.
|
- BBC Numbertime
A BBC Maths Education Series. We created, designed and wrote 10x4' live action comedy sketches. The learning objective was to teach coin recognition and usage, so of course we set the series in a shop within an alien spaceship.
|
- Story Circus
We wrote and illustrated several stories for this popular website designed for parents to read to their children at bedtime.
|
- BBC
Addem and the Ants
Following the success of our first series, we were commissioned by the BBC to create a new character-based animation for the next season of Numbertime. Addem is a young adder who discovers the world of the ants, in particular an efficient and friendly young ant called Ann, complete with her personal organiser. We successfully combined character development, plot, comedy and plenty of maths into the 10x2-minute animations.
